<p>I called for some support on twitter, which was interesting but not related and while giving my son a bath this evening it hit me.</p>
<p><strong>F*cking UAC&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>Moral of the story, Citrix don&#8217;t do prerequisite checking very well, anyone who&#8217;s installed Provisioning services, VDI in a Box, etc will know this.</p>
<p>Save yourself some head scratching and right click &gt; run as administrator. Once you do this the installer will launch in triumph and you can get on with your day job.</p>
